Work with me

Write a blog post

I welcome requests from  anyone who desires to publish. I do have specific guidelines and topics that I will likely publish more of than others. Please feel free to offer articles on topics (or related) such as:

STEM

Diversity and Inclusion

Raising the minimum wage

Small niche career and job search advice

College to Professional

Benefits, salary, and compensation

Technology (job apps, website with unique technology etc.)

Article guidelines:

1. It must be in a 1-100 (1-5, 1-10, whatever, you get the gist) format

2. Grammar perfect (or near)

3. In English

4. Advice driven

5. Images (with permission)

6. Must be original

You would like a book to be reviewed or featured

When I first started this blog, I reviewed books regularly. These days, books and the author are featured on the podcast only, not through a written review. The author and/or publisher must be willing to give away copies of his or her book. It doesn’t matter if it’s an e-book or a physical copy, but free copies must be available to me (as the publisher of the blog) and then, at least two copies of the audience (random). There are exceptions reserved for those whom I have a long relationship previously (such as AMACOM).

The conversation I publish is mainly about job search or career advice. It is not to spend 15-20 minutes selling your book. The advice sells your book. I reserve the right to edit the interview in any way that will benefit this audience.

You would like to be a guest on the show

I will accept requests at mark[at]thevoiceofjobseekers.com. You can state your case, although I am not short of topics, but it is unlikely you will be published if your advice is only limited to resumes, cover letters, how to interview etc. I have published many of those interviews already, and have experts who I have as “go-to” when needed.

You have an infographic that you would like to publish

The problem with infographics these days – the same infographic is published on many other sites. The only way that I will publish an infographic is if it’s accompanied with an expert that will speak to the infographic. In addition, at the time of publishing, the infographic must NOT BE PUBLISHED ELSEWHERE. Again, there are exceptions to this rule, and again, I have a relationship with those companies it applies to.

You have a fresh perspective (job search for a small niche)

Yes. Yes. Yes. Email me mark[at]thevoiceofjobseekers.com, and we will discuss your idea with you in detail. It helps to be ready to explain your vision and how it will help job seekers.

You want to push your new website

I get it, but I will be supporting this less frequently than in the past. I am open to discussing, but rarely will I publish info unless you have made a case convincingly.
